Bench Basics is a small guide site for people starting woodworking on a budget: which tools to buy first, which can wait, and which first projects teach the most.
How we work
Guides are drafted with AI writing tools and checked before publishing. We research products from manufacturer specifications and public sources. We have not tested a tool unless a guide says so, and we never invent reviews, test results or prices.
What we cover
Starter tools, power tools, beginner projects and shop safety. We stay away from advice that needs a professional (electrical work, structural builds).
Questions or corrections: see the contact line on the disclosure page.
